Set on 175 acres in Southern Texas,
Pastures Green is a fiber farm using Angora goats and Finnish sheep to create wonderful lush organic raw wool. The fiber farm was set up to produce a profit to sustain the care of Home Stretch Farm & Sanctuary horses, a 501(c)3 non-profit giving a forever home to unwanted race and polo horses due for retirement.

OUR STORY
Pastures Green was set up in New Jersey as healing sanctuary for animals and people during Covid when we held out door yoga with sheep, nature walks and meditation retreats. As the economy shifted we move all the horses, sheep and goats in September 2024 to Waller, Texas to pursue fiber farming American wool to sustain the costs of the horse sanctuary and further help more horses in need.
Each member of our flock is considered family. Each sheep and goat have a name and are treated with love and kindness. They each have their own unique personalities from Lombardi our gentle Finnish ram to Winston our rascal Shetland ram. Eve is an Angora doe who follows us around and is unsure if she is a goat or dog.

Bottom line is that the emotional well being of each of our flock are considered just as highly as the physical health in order to produce amazing lush and versatile wool.
